PROMOTING THE PRODUCTION AND DISSEMINATION OF THE ART OF LINEN IS MY AIM

Step-by-step from sowing to final fabric

I know the process of obtaining linen yarn is complex. I also know that to weave a lot of knowledge is needed. I know because I went through this process and it took me a long time to learn everything.

This workshop will help you, objectively and clearly, to get your yarn and your fabric.

By participating in this workshop, you are not only buying knowledge, you are also contributing to the promotion and dissemination of the Natural, Cultural and Human Heritage, perpetuating an ancestral know-how.

WHAT I PROPOSE

>> A journey through the history of a people, their traditions, ways of life and know-how;

>> Videos that you can watch whenever you want in order to learn step by step all the processes from threading to loom;

>> Accompany you in the learning process throughout the course;

>> Exclusive bonuses  for you.

About me

My name is Paula Oliveira and, like linseed, I am very saucy. I graduated in Portuguese and Lusophone Studies from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and I have a master's degree in Cultural Project Management from the Universidad de Alcalá, Madrid.
Through the hand of my maternal grandmother, I found ways to know how to make handicrafts that always aroused my curiosity. I am eternally in love with people and places.

In 2014 I started Cabril Eco Rural, a project of
  development  rural and tourism  sustainable.
In 2016, guided by octogenarian masters and masters, I started the work of
  collection  and  sharing  of the Traditional Culture of Barroso. thanks to this  human heritage  has it been possible for me to learn the art and crafts related to  linen, to  there  and to  rye.
In 2017 I did my first linen cycle and, since then, I have the mission of
  don't allow the linen to disappear  again in Barroso.

I organized this workshop so that you can,  at your pace, learn all the turns of the flax.
To the production process I add history, culture and traditions and, of course, nature.

I'm talking about 100% organic and 100% handcrafted linen.
